Message from Our Founder
Emerald Care Consultancy is a healthcare advisory practice dedicated to improving workforce retention, governance, and quality systems within long-term and residential care.
Founded by Linda Walsh, a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing with extensive experience managing large long-term care facilities in Ireland, the consultancy brings proven leadership and operational expertise to the U.S. care sector.
Drawing on more than a decade of front-line and executive-level experience, Linda understands the realities of staffing, regulatory compliance, and culture change within complex care environments. Her work focuses on helping providers strengthen governance structures, engage and retain staff, and achieve consistent, person-centred quality outcomes.
Emerald Care Consultancy was established to share effective, evidence-based frameworks developed within Ireland’s integrated-care model and to collaborate with U.S. long-term care organisations facing similar workforce and compliance challenges.
The consultancy’s goal is to support safer, more stable, and higher-quality care systems that benefit residents, staff, and leadership alike.
